Welcome!
This exciting initiative celebrates the diversity and creativity of the London Borough of Brent, transforming public spaces into vibrant expressions of community and culture. Spanning Wembley, Ealing Road, Neasden, Kingsbury, Kilburn, Willesden Green, Harlesden, and Church End, the trail features an eclectic mix of murals, shutter art, sculptures, and lighting installations. Designed to captivate and inspire, the trail is a visual celebration of Brent's rich cultural heritage, showcasing its unique stories and voices.
Art for everyone
At the heart of the Brent Art Trail is a commitment to inclusivity. All art featured in the trail is free to the public, ensuring everyone, regardless of age, background, or circumstances, can engage with and enjoy these creative expressions. Street art is inherently democratic – it lives outside museums and galleries, making it accessible to all. By placing art in public spaces, we invite everyone to connect with it, fostering a sense of shared belonging and community pride.
A celebration of diversity
Brent is one of the most diverse boroughs in London, and the art reflects this incredible cultural tapestry. The trail showcases works that highlight shared beliefs, celebrate local heroes, and amplify underrepresented voices. Each piece tells a story – whether it’s a mural inspired by South Asian heritage on Ealing Road, a tribute to Bob Marley in Neasden, or a dynamic set of murals in Wembley, the art serves as a bridge between cultures and an invitation to engage in meaningful conversations.
The power of art to unite and inspire
Street art has a unique ability to express the lives, values, and struggles of a community. The Brent Art Trail celebrates this power, using art to spark curiosity, bridge divides, and inspire unity. It encourages exploration, both of the borough and of the important themes the artwork addresses, such as identity, heritage, and social justice. These striking visuals don’t just beautify public spaces – they evoke joy and wonder, boosting our mental and emotional well-being by making us feel part of something bigger.
Explore your way
Whether you’re a local or visiting for the first time, the trail is easy to explore. Our detailed walking route highlights key bus stops and nearby stations, making navigation a breeze. Cyclists can take advantage of a dedicated cycling route, complete with bike parking along the way. With so many ways to experience the trail, it’s an adventure that’s open to everyone.
A movement for the community
The Brent Art Trail is more than just an art installation – it’s a movement. By weaving art into public spaces, the trail strengthens Brent’s cultural identity, deepens community connections, and creates a sense of belonging. Art should be for everyone, and the Brent Art Trail invites you to explore, reflect, and celebrate the creativity that brings us all together.
